As Week 2 of the 2022 NFL season comes to a close on Monday, some fans and bettors are already looking ahead to Week 3. The Philadelphia Eagles will square off against the Washington Commanders in an NFC East matchup this weekend.
In their 24-7 victory over the Minnesota Vikings, the Eagles worked hard on both sides of the ball. While the Eagles had 486 total offensive yards, Nick Sirianni’s team limited the Vikings to 264 yards while forcing Kirk Cousins to throw three interceptions.
In Week 2, however, the Commanders were unable to defeat the Detroit Lions, falling 36-27. Washington put itself in a difficult position by losing 22-0 at halftime, which means the Commanders can’t afford another bad start if they want to beat their opponents.
To assist shed some light on the situation, OKbet Betting News has compiled the most recent Eagles versus Commanders odds from OKbet Sportsbook, as well as a prediction and best bets for the NFL Week 3 game.

OKbet Predictions and picks for the Philadelphia vs. Washington Commanders
OKbet Betting Prediction for Eagles vs. Commanders: Eagles 30, Commanders 14.
OKbet Picks for Eagles vs. Commanders: Eagles -6.5 (Best Value: -106 at OKbet) & Under 47.5 Points (Best Value: -110 at OKbet)
After a turbulent summer, the Eagles have emerged as one of the league’s top teams through two weeks. Everything is clicking on both sides of the ball, and it appears like their dominance over the Commanders will be maintained.
The truth is that the Commanders are still not a particularly strong team. While the additions of Carson Wentz and Jahan Dotson have improved the passing game, scoring will be difficult against a Philadelphia secondary that effectively shut down Justin Jefferson in Week 2.
The passing game has provided the majority of Washington’s offense; however, Philadelphia has allowed only 203.5 passing yards per game (No. 12) thus far.
The Commanders may be pushed to run the ball more, which they haven’t done effectively this season. Their rushing yards per game (86.5) and yards per carry (3.5) are both among the lowest in the league.
The Eagles should also win because the Commanders’ defense isn’t particularly strong. They’re allowing 29.0 points per game (T-No. 27) and just let Lions wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown blast them for 184 total yards from scrimmage, which bodes well for Philadelphia wide receivers A.J. Green and Jordan Matthews. DeVonta Smith and Brown
Overall, I don’t believe the Commanders have the talent to compete with the Eagles. Furthermore, Washington was unable to upset Detroit last week, although Philadelphia was able to defeat the Lions in Week 1.
Add in the fact that the Eagles have won eight of their previous ten games versus the Commanders, including both games last year, and it’s hard not to pick Philly in Week 3.
The Eagles’ last eight triumphs over the Commanders have resulted in an average win margin of 11.4 points, so I’m happy to back them as 6.5-point favorites.
I also believe that the Eagles’ tough defense will mostly shut down the Commanders, resulting in the under being hit, as it has twice in the last three games.
