All-Star SystemSeven Helmet
Design Features
Redesigned Cage
- It’s simple. When you get hit in the dead you don’t want the
force to travel into your
head. All-Star has designed their new cage in a way to defelct the
impacts away from the catcher’s head. While using no moving parts,
All-Star has been able to mount their cage in a specific manner to
insure that the shockwave felt from the impact of a ball in dispersed
to the mounting points as opposed to the head.
Advanced Shell Design
- All-Star’s new shell has been designed to increase maximum
ventilation while still being able to deflect foul tips from
conatacting the head. They have achieved this by submerging their vents
throughout the shell. Also, their new shell is 3/4 inch longer than
previous designs. This allows for a more stable, balanced platform for
it to rest, while at the same time increases coverage protection.
The Back Plate
- Tired of snaps popping off? All-Star’s back plate features three
“bridges” which force the snaps to stay hooked up no matter how hard
you play. The straps also flow over the edges of the back plate, rather
than through it, to keep the straps from snagging on your ears while
pulling the mask on and off.
The Liner
- All of the SystemSeven catcher’s mask come with a removable
liner. This liner can be machine washed with mild detergent and then
air dry. While washing the liner the inside of the shell will be easy
to clean as well, allowing to maintain the lifespan of your helmet for
much longer.
